The diagram above shows the literacy rate of people in Australia. It is stated that 99% of the population of Australia are literate. This means that most citizens can read and write properly.

i do think that our country Malaysia can achieve a high rank of literacy, depending of the mentality of the citizens here. This is because people living in some rural areas (kampung baru) do not emphasize much on the importance of education

I do agree with your opinion Jason, the implementation is very crucial. So when our government emphasize and enforce "Adult learning" like how England do. I believe we can achieve 100% in maybe another 5-10 years.
